Being part of ASET really helped me prepare for the working world. I developed many soft skills such as communication and teamwork, which I now use during my internship. I really enjoy what I am doing, and I do not regret joining the program at all. It helped me feel more confident at work.

I am currently managing both the back of house and front of house. I have eight bakers reporting to me, and some of them are older than me. My boss trusts me because I can speak English and knows she can rely on me. The program helped me learn responsibility and how to lead others at work.

I chose this program because I wanted to try something different. I am now working in a start-up, and sometimes the work is very hard. We face workplace conflicts and have to handle difficult situations. I remember the SEL lessons from the program, and they have really helped me in my job. I feel more prepared compared to my peers.
